The United Library

The United Library is the academic library of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and Seabury-Western. Established in 1981 with the merger of the two collections and now owned by Garrett, the United Library shares a common catalog with Northwestern University Library and is home to several collections of antique and rare items as well as a circulating collection, class reserves, and reference services for students, faculty and researchers. Seabury alumni are eligible for free United Library cards and for access to the ATLAS online serials database. To get a United Library card, please visit the library Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am-4:30 pm or Friday from 8:30 am-1 pm.
