Jeffrey D. Lee was seated as 12th Bishop of Chicago in 2008. Bishop Lee is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Nashotah House Seminary in Wisconsin. He was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Northern Indiana in 1985. After serving there as curate and then canon to the ordinary, he served as a church planter in the Diocese of Indianapolis. Lee was called as rector of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in River Hills, Wisconsin, in 1994. Six years later he accepted the call to be rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, Washington, where he served until his election as bishop.
